Feb 2011
I made pop corn cake pops for my annual Oscar party...they were good but i do not think they could replace cake at a party (they make great party favors though), the king cake was for a Mardi Gras party i had.
Dec 2010
GINGERBREAD...i put 2 small puzzles inside the house and the kids got to break it open on Christmas eve.
Nov 2010
Madeline's 7th birthday (it was at a bowling alley) and then another birthday cake i made with the leftover fondant.
June 2010
Once again Ari got 2 parties for his 4th birthday...baseball and monkey (both were by request). So the first one is a Wrigley Field interpretation (fact: there are over 300 ivy on the Wrigley cake)...the second is a monkey.
March 2010
Birthday cake for my mom. My son thought those were meatballs on the cake. They are actually chocolate covered cherries rolled in pistachios.
i don't know when i made this cake
so i am going to just insert it here. This was a birthday cake...the theme was that delft blue and white i think the colors came out almost perfect. It tasted awesome it was lemon chiffon cake with lemon buttercream.
Nov 2009
Madeline's 6th birthday cake (first time i wrote on a cake), the Challah i made for Thanksgiving, and a turkey cake i made for my son's preschool class.
fall 2009
baby shower and birthday...the baby on the first cake is plastic but the hat and glove are made out of chocolate. The roses on the second cake are made out of modeling chocolate and i let the kids put on the sprinkles so it got a little nuts.
fall/winter 2009/2010
Finally i enrolled in school...these are cakes from my first cake decorating class. I hope to be taking my second one this coming fall. The last pic is my final for this class which was a 3 tiered wedding cake, mine is Hawaiian themed.
summer 2009
First cake is a westen theme i did for a friend (yes that cowboy hot on top is solid choclate). The second are pirate cupcakes i did for a friend, and last one was for Madeline's preschool graduation.
